Export markets represent an important opportunity for SME growth. In addition to significant traditional barriers to international trade, such as tariffs and transportation costs, there are likely more subtle barriers internally imbedded in the business which governments have tried to address through expensive programs. This study aims to identify the impact of two such programs in Cordoba, Argentina, a managerial consulting program and a training on export business models, and determine which investment is most effective.
