Howard Haines is currently a PhD student in the Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences department at Utah State University. His research focus is on how people learn to persist and become successful entrepreneurs. He also has helped to create and advise several immersive venture accelerator programmes in Utah and Oklahoma in the past few years.
He presently serves as the executive director for Startup Utah, a volunteer entrepreneur community, and is part of an advisory team at the non-profit Quatere Foundries while teaching both offline and online entrepreneurship courses. He also has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
