Winter Research Meeting - December 2016

The Innovation Growth Lab (IGL) is hosted a Winter Research Meeting on Thursday, 8 December, 2016 at the Harvard Business School in Boston.

The meeting is a forum for researchers to discuss academic research that uses experimental methods to improve our understanding of the drivers of innovation, entrepreneurship and growth, and potential interventions to accelerate these. The day will include presentations and discussions of early-stage, ongoing and completed research, and will offer researchers opportunities to network and share experiences of designing and running trials.

The research meeting gathers the members of the IGL Research Network. There are also a number of spots open to researchers outside the network.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We welcomed empirical research that provided evidence on the best approaches to increase innovation, support high-growth entrepreneurship and accelerate business growth. More specifically, we encouraged abstracts both on completed and ongoing randomised controlled trials (whether in the design, implementation or analysis stage), as well as abstracts for review papers synthesising evidence or drawing on generalisable lessons learned.

We invited submissions of abstracts of 250-400 words on the following themes: (1) Science and innovation and (2) Entrepreneurship and business growth.
