Experimentation Webinar Series
We are excited to introduce the IGL Experimentation Webinar Series, a new initiative designed to help researchers learn from the latest randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and refine their experimental designs before they go to the field.
Our goal is to upskill the research community by sharing insights, best practices, and common pitfalls in experimental research.
Do you have a paper, trial, or idea you’d like to present or get feedback on? If you’re interested in presenting, register your interest here
Webinar Format
Each 1.5-hour webinar will feature:
- Two related trials: one paper with trial results and one trial design that has not yet been implemented
- A discussant who will analyse both trials and share their expertise on experimental research.
- An optional 30-minute audience Q&A to engage with presenters and discuss key takeaways.
Webinar Schedule
📅 March 27, 2025 – AI in Science: Experimentation and Innovation
Our inaugural session explored how AI is transforming scientific research and product innovation.
👤 Discussant: Jacqueline Lane
📌 Research Paper:
Artificial Intelligence, Scientific Discovery, and Product Innovation – By Aidan Toner-Rodgers (MIT)
📌 Trial Design: Standardizing Innovation Evaluation Through AI: Impact on Cognitive Load and Decision-Making Biases by Charles Ayoubi
You can watch the recording of this session here.
