Richard Kneller

Richard Kneller is a Professor of Economics at the University of Nottingham. He is also the lead for research on Productivity and Technical Change in the Nottingham Centre for Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP), for research on Digital Technologies in the ERSC Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy and also works as part of the ESRC Knowledge Exchange Hub tacking the UK productivity challenge (PrOPEL). Richard’s main research interests are the causes and consequences of technological change, mostly focused on digital technologies and productivity at the firm level, and on international trade. This work has formed the basis for his collaborations and advisory work with the UK government as well as projects for the OECD, World Bank and Amazon.
