Francesca Bacco, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management and Organization of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research explores how entrepreneurs and innovators formulate effective strategies and convince others of the value of their ideas, with particular emphasis on the role of systematic approaches to experimentation and narrative strategies in these processes. Together with colleagues from across the globe, she has co-designed and coordinated RCT studies in Europe and Africa.
