Fabio Pieri

Fabio Pieri is Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento. He is also a Fellow at the Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano.

His main research interests are industrial economics and productivity. For the last 10 years he has been working on the determinants of firm growth and survival and on the determinants and consequences of vertical integration. His research has also evolved around the sources of productivity growth at both the micro (firm) and the meso (region/industry) levels. More recently, he has been researching the determinants and consequences of how firms organize their workforces.

He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Florence and received his Ph.D. from the University of Trento in 2010.
