Cédric Gutierrez is an Assistant Professor of Management and Technology at Bocconi University. His research focuses on the role of economic preferences in entrepreneurial entry and investment decisions, as well as the antecedents and consequences of compensation structures and organizational practices on individual behavior, performance, and inequality within organizations. Adopting a behavioral perspective, his work emphasizes the roles of uncertainty, time, and social preferences. Cédric’s research has been published in Management Science, Organization Science, the Strategic Management Journal, and Experimental Economics, and has received recognition, including the 2016 Best Empirical Paper Award (AOM Entrepreneurship Division) and the 2018 INFORMS Best Dissertation Award (TIMES Division, 2nd place).
